A blue car was damaged on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in the parking lot of a fitness studio in Prüm, prompting police to seek witnesses.

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM, a blue car parked at the FIT INN fitness studio located at Bahnhofstraße 20 in Prüm was damaged. The incident occurred in the parking lot, and the vehicle sustained multiple long, partially parallel scratches on the left side, including the front fender and the driver’s door.

The damage is particularly notable for blister-like formations on the paint surface, which suggest potential exposure to heat. Investigators are currently examining whether the damage was caused by contact with a heated object, such as a hot vehicle component, or through other means. The exact cause remains under investigation by the local police.

The Prüm Police Department is appealing to witnesses who may have observed suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals near the damaged car during the specified timeframe. Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the police at 06551/942-0. Further inquiries can be directed to Officer Valerius at the Prüm Police Department via phone or email at pipruem@polizei.rlp.de.
