Ukraine Thanks EU for €3.9 Billion Drone Aid Amid Escalating Conflict

Ukraine expresses gratitude to the EU for critical €3.9 billion drone funding as the war intensifies.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has publicly thanked the European Union for providing €3.9 billion in financial aid to bolster the country’s defense capabilities. She described the support as ‘timely assistance’ that will help address urgent defense needs, expand domestic drone production, strengthen the arms industry, and ensure vital supplies reach the frontlines.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces targeted the Russian space communication center in Dubna, Moscow Oblast, for the second time in eight days, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Explosions and damages were reported by local residents on Telegram. Additionally, Russian glide bomb attacks on Zaporizhzhia killed two civilians, injured 15 others, and heavily damaged a kindergarten, as confirmed by Ivan Fedorov, the region’s military governor.
