Revival of EVE Bus Line Project in Val d’Europe
Revival of EVE Bus Line Project in Val d’Europe
The long-awaited EVE bus line project, designed to connect key transport hubs and the Jossigny hospital, has been relaunched after 11 years, with public consultations scheduled for October 2023.
The EVE line will span 8.4 kilometers, serving eight municipalities from Esbly to Jossigny, with 12 strategically placed stops to optimize service efficiency. Île-de-France Mobilités has updated the project to reflect recent urban developments and aims for a direct route linking the P line, RER A, and the hospital. The anticipated travel time is approximately 25 minutes, with service frequency set at every 5 minutes during peak hours. The project, budgeted at €124 million, is expected to commence operations by 2031-2032, contingent on regulatory processes and ongoing studies.
