Milo Yiannopoulos Deported from the U.S. Amid Controversy
Far-right blogger Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported from the United States back to the UK.
Milo Yiannopoulos, a controversial figure known for his far-right views, was deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Friday. He was taken into custody at New Orleans Airport for overstaying his visa.
Yiannopoulos entered the U.S. legally in May 2019 but failed to appear for a required hearing, leading to a deportation order issued by an immigration judge in July. Once a prominent voice among American extremists, his notoriety declined after defending inappropriate relationships in a 2017 interview.
