The Greens are intensifying their campaign efforts in Eastern Germany to secure at least 5% of the vote and prevent an AfD government.

At their second ‘East Congress’ in Sassnitz, party leaders emphasized that only with Greens in the state parliament can an AfD government be avoided, urging tactical voting to surpass the 5% threshold.

Despite current polling at around 4%, the Greens are engaging in a grassroots campaign, including family-friendly events and direct outreach to voters, as they aim for a critical election summer.
