The Green Youth plans to participate in protests against the AfD party congress in Erfurt this weekend, asserting a commitment to combat right-wing extremism.

Luis Bobga, the leader of the Green Youth, announced their involvement in planned disruptions, stating that civil disobedience is necessary to protect democracy.

With up to 50,000 demonstrators expected, Bobga emphasized solidarity with the anti-fascist group ‘Widersetzen,’ while other Green leaders urged peaceful protests to showcase a strong democratic response.
