As part of the acquisition announced on July 6, Fincantieri confirmed that the reinvestor partners, comprising key management figures from NextGeo, will reinvest over 70% of their current shares and transfer a total of 4.13% of NextGeo’s equity to Fincantieri upon execution. The agreement allows for a gradual exit of the partners from the company, aligned with the approval of financial statements for the fiscal years 2027-2029, through a series of put and call options. This initiative is part of Fincantieri’s broader strategy to establish a leading European platform for underwater operations, integrating advanced technologies and services.
