AfD leader Tino Chrupalla calls for an end to military aid for Ukraine following allegations of Ukrainian involvement in Nord Stream sabotage.

Tino Chrupalla, spokesperson for the Alternative for Germany (AfD), has demanded an immediate cessation of all military aid to Ukraine. His statement comes in response to allegations that Ukrainian state actors were involved in the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines. Chrupalla stated, ‘The evidence already suffices to halt all military aid to Ukraine.’

The German Federal Prosecutor’s Office revealed details of an indictment against Serhii K., a former Ukrainian officer, accusing him of complicity in the September 2022 pipeline attacks. The sabotage reportedly aimed to permanently disrupt gas supplies, preventing Russia from using revenues to fund its war against Ukraine. Chrupalla described the attack as a ‘strike against the lifeline of German industry’ and called for a thorough investigation, including scrutiny of Ukraine’s military and intelligence leadership. Meanwhile, Russia intensified its assaults on Ukraine, killing at least 17 civilians in overnight attacks.
