Following his dismissal, Mychajlo Fedorow received a call from Italy’s Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, inviting him to advise the Italian Defense Ministry. Crosetto expressed his admiration for Fedorow, highlighting his innovative contributions that transformed Ukraine’s battlefield strategies.

Crosetto noted that Italy, Germany, and France face similar defense policy challenges as Ukraine, emphasizing the urgent need for advanced weaponry. He announced plans for additional arms supplies to Ukraine, acknowledging the growing specificity of military needs. Meanwhile, Russian officials reacted skeptically to Italy’s outreach to Fedorow.
